VILLAGE CREEK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

Minutes of the General Meeting held February 9, 2006

The meeting was called to order by President Craig Jacobs at 7:06 pm in the Building Inspection Conference Room, City Hall, Plano, Texas. There were 8 members in attendance including our NPO, Dave Waddell.

The agenda was distributed, discussed and approved.

Gene Verinder read the minutes of the last meeting, which were approved. Vicki Verinder gave the treasury report: the account balance is $605.69 and there was no activity.

We discussed the upcoming changes to the neighborhood being done by the city. Streets and alleys will be repaired over the next several weeks. We also discussed the Parker Road widening, the Central/Parker interchange improvements and the on/off ramp changes to Central.

Craig said he would contact the city of Richardson about signage on the eastbound Bush service road and the lights along Waterview.

We also discussed having the next meeting with a representative of the Parks and Recreation department to discuss our concerns about safety and sanitation in Shawnee and Santa Fe Trails. Craig said he would make the invitation.

We discussed finalizing the newsletter articles and plans for printing and distributing them.

A crime report was given by Officer Waddell.

The meeting was adjourned around 8:00 pm.
