The meeting was called to order by President Craig Jacobs at 7:05 pm in the Building Inspection Conference Room, City Hall, Plano, Texas. There were 6 members in attendance, no guests, constituting a quorum. The agenda was distributed, discussed and approved.

The reading of the minutes of the last meeting and the treasury report were read and approved. The tabled minutes from the November meeting were voted off the table, read and approved. The treasury has $605.69.

Old Business: None.

New Business: 2007 Plans were discussed: Sunshine Rotary project, Keep Plano Beautiful / Great American Cleanup (4/14), National Night Out (8/7), Make a Difference Day (October). Several ideas on how to improve interest and attendance at the neighborhood meetings were discussed: more interesting meetings, better communications, calendar of events sent to each household, have a complaint session with follow-up, sell advertising for the newsletter, stimulate pride in neighborhood with a yard landscaping or house painting contest, offer landscaping education,

Committee Reports:

Parker Road Widening: No new news. Electric lines are being moved.

Shawnee Park Renaming: The city council voted to remove the power of renaming of parks from the park board and must be done by the council.

Great American Cleanup: (4/14) VP James Edwards will register us on the web site and see if property standards would sponsor a dumpster or 2 for general neighborhood use that weekend. It was suggested we could use our meeting signs to advertise this event.

Crime Watch: John Wilson said there was nothing to report.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:14 pm.

Respectfully submitted,

Vicki Verinder, Secretary/Treasurer
