VILLAGE CREEK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
Minutes of the General Meeting held September 13, 2007
The meeting was called to order by President Craig Jacobs at 7:33 pm in the Building Inspection Conference Room, City Hall, Plano, Texas. There were 5 members in attendance with one newcomer, a landlord with property on Felix. No agenda was prepared.
There were no minutes of the last meeting. The treasury report were read and approved. The treasury has $605.69.
Old Business: None.
New Business:
James reported that some of the people on Lilac would like speed cushions to slow traffic that is cutting through to avoid the light at Parker Rd. and Ave P. He will look into it.
Committee Reports:
National Night Out: There was good attendance and everyone had fun. Plano Television filmed some spots and did an interview with Craig. Look for it on the local access channel.
Projects:
We discussed having a South Side Tree Trimming project in the Spring as many in the neighborhood do not meet city code and some people need help doing the trimming.
We also discussed providing beautification landscape for the bus stops along Parker once the paving has been completed.
We agreed to take up the 25 mph speed limits in the neighborhood. Gene will look into this.
Parker Road Widening: Nothing new.
Wyatt North Repaving: Nothing new.
Parker Road/US 75 Interchange: Nothing new.
Elections:
A quorum was in attendance so elections for 2007-2008 were held. The elected officers are:
President, Gene Verinder

Secretary/Treasurer, Vicki Verinder
Director: Linda Doyle
Director: Doug Jacobs
Crime Watch Report: None. James will contact our NPO, Dave Waddell, to bring us an update on crime watch for October.
