VILLAGE CREEK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

Minutes of the General Meeting held February 11^th, 2009

The meeting was called to order by President Gene Verinder at 7:02 pm, conference room, 2600 K Ave., Plano, Texas. There were 8 members and 2 guests in attendance.

The agenda was reviewed and approved. The minutes of the last meeting were approved and the treasury report was read and approved. The treasury has $605.69.

Crime Watch: Several items were brought up including a continuing amount of graffiti, shopping cart problems, and a robbery.

Old Business: Discussion by Monique and the members about the wording of and items to be included on the questionnaire.

The decision was made to try to have our meetings at the library if possible so that there is a consistent meeting place.

New Business: Discussed the upcoming city sponsored Roundtable; the meeting to be held on Feb. 23^rd about the questionnaire; a future block party in the early summer in connection with the surveys and who from the city would be there as well as having some sort of refreshments. Sergeant Pero asked that old photos showing NPO’s and their work with us be e-mailed.

Current Projects: We are continuing with the idea of doing a bush trimming project with help from the Rotary club, and also getting some Boy Scout groups to help with alley numbering.
