VILLAGE CREEK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
Minutes of the General Meeting held February 10th, 2010
The meeting was called to order by President Gene Verinder at 7:07 pm, Harrington Library Activities Room, Plano, Texas. There were 6 members in attendance.
The agenda was reviewed and approved. There were no minutes of the last meeting. The treasury report was read and approved. The treasury has $481.03.
Crime Watch: Officer Waddell reported that a burglary arrest had been made in December. We asked if the crime stats for the area could be brought to our meetings. He will look into it.
Old Business: none.
New Business: The District 1 Roundtable was a city council presentation like last year with limited questions allowed from the audience.
We agreed to get more information about DART benches at Ave. N and P and see if we can help design and maintain the area around them.
We discussed the questionnaire and the possibility of getting a translator for the meetings.
We talked about having a garage sale at Barron Elementary during the Plano Balloon Fest.
We agreed to come up with suggestions and action items for us and the city to improve the neighborhood and discuss at the next meeting.
Committee Reports: we discussed the US75/Parker Rd. interchange to be completed November, 2010.
The next meeting was scheduled for Thursday, April 8, 2010. Meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm.
