VILLAGE CREEK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
Minutes of the General Meeting held April 7th, 2010
The meeting was called to order by President Gene Verinder at 7:06 pm, Harrington Library Activities Room, Plano, Texas. There were 6 members in attendance.
The agenda was reviewed and approved. There were no minutes of the last meeting. The treasury report was read and approved. The treasury has $481.03.
Crime Watch: no discussion.
Old Business:
Garage Sale – we discussed having it with Plano Balloon Fest 9/18-19. Jan will contact Barron to see about having it in their parking lot.
DART benches – we talked about beautifying the area around bus stops if benches were installed. James will look into this.
Neighborhood questionnaire – Gene to contact Monique to see if a final tally has been done.
Neighborhood improvement items – 1) general discussion about putting up street numbers in the alleys and Craig will see if the city has any grant money that could help, 2) we discussed the south side of the neighborhood is still having problems with the Al Dia papers.
New Business: none.
Committee Reports: we discussed the US75/Parker Rd. interchange to be completed December, 2010.
The next meeting was scheduled for Thursday, June 10, 2010 – Gene will make reservation. Meeting was adjourned at 8:03 pm.
